Shelley Barratt Music: consciously creating itself! The continued writing of lyrics, songs, and music has become a "choiceless choice" for Shelley, who works delightfully solo or with those who accompany her Americana songs and melodic lyrics. Besides signing Shelley's album, Origin of Flight, to Rescue Records for music licensing, her songs have received acclaim in Billboard and USA Today Song Contests, have been featured in Cinemasounds in theatres across the country, have been nominated for Fame Games Effigy Awards and ‘Reviewers Picks’, and more. Currently based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Shelley and her band, formerly known as 5 Revolving Doors, continues to write and record music with the occasional live show.
